How we started
Hi - thanks for checking out our website! Since you're on the "about us" page here's a little bit of info about us. Monkey Business Kid's Boutique was founded in 2007 in the Vancouver BC suburb Maple Ridge by "us" - Karen & Steve Pukesh. Our goal was to provide our community with a new shopping experience for children's clothing, footwear, and all things kid-related. As new parents at the time (our son Taylor was born in 2005) we wanted products and brands that we just couldn't find in the big box stores or online, so we decided to make it happen ourselves by using our extensive experience in the retail and wholesale sector to bring in brands and products we valued and trusted. In October of 2007 Monkey Business Kid's Boutique was born!
About our store
Our store is a place for kids, but we welcome parents, grandparents, and anyone else who loves a kid! At Monkey Business Kids Boutique you’ll find a carefully curated collection of seasonally selected clothing, footwear, and accessories hand picked by Karen and Steve from brands that focus on making quality children's products. The products we sell in our store will meet your needs from newborn up until about age twelve, for both girls and boys.. We also have an incredible selection of room décor, teething aids, skin care products, backpacks, diaper bags, games and toys for kids too.
Our store layout is designed to specifically enhance your shopping experience, especially if you are a parent shopping with little ones. Our retail space is designed intentionally to allow for strollers, we have a private mommy area with a change table and an inviting sofa area for feeding time, and a safe and fun play area for the older kids. There is plenty of free parking on MacIntosh Avenue and behind the building – something we thought important for those with little ones in tow. Our street address is 11947 224th Street in beautiful downtown Maple Ridge BC - directly across from Peace Park.

We have lived in Maple Ridge for over 20 years and love supporting all the wonderful local businesses here in our community.
